What We Believe

These are What We Believe as New Testament Followers of Jesus

Picture
We hold that there is a difference between The Church and The Assembly. Jesus built The Assembly; man built The Church.

“Church” is pagan in origin and history, and had existed long before Jesus said, "I will build my Assembly."

Consequently, the doctrines, practices, worship, followership and leadership of the church today are all a carry-over of the pagan religion that invaded The Assembly in the early ages and took control of it, killing the leaders and persecuting the brethren.

The leaders of this pagan religion bloodily took over the leadership of the Assembly. They banned meetings in homes and changed it to meeting in their buildings which was called “church.”

Any “Christian” who did not go to church was labeled a “heretic” and put to death by burning at stake or by feeding them to wild animals at the coliseum.

Scrolls and manuscripts that the Assembly used in fellowship were banned and copies were burned. Anyone possessing one was put to death.

As brethren in the Assembly fled the persecution, this pagan church consolidated her grip and instituted her pagan practices in the church.
They hired “scholars” (their pagan priests) to translate the scrolls and manuscripts (later called the Bible) and also doctored it o reflect the doctrines, practices, festivals, traditions of their religion.

This is where many pagan doctrines (like worship of Mary, infant baptism, confession of faith, praying for the dead, indulgences, eucharist, Christmas, Easter, titles, and so on) were inserted and instituted as part of the Christian faith.

The most dangerous and most effective doctrines the pagan church instituted and forced over the Assembly were (1) the clergy-laity style of meeting which replaced Fellowship (Koinonia) and (2) one-man leadership/ownership/founder of the church which replaced plurality of elders.
Both of these doctrines and practices are historically consistent with that of the pagan church but never of the Assembly. Jesus actually warned the disciples to avoid the clergy-laity style in Mat 20:26-28, Mk 10:42-45, Lk 22:25-26. Twice in Rev 2:6 and 15 Jesus told the Assemblies at Ephesus that He hates this doctrine and deed.

All these doctrines, practices, festivals and many more are still here with us and being practiced by many sincere but deceived believers who serve and worship the Jesus the pagan church made for people who is actually the son of the goddess they worship as the queen of heaven called Mary.
We believe that this pagan church succeeded in eradicating the genuine brethren of the True Assembly for over a thousand years after. They subdued and crushed anyone who challenged their authority. It was historically documented that millions of saints died for speaking the truth and challenging this pagan entity. Thus, making “the church” the most singular organization on earth that killed most Christians in the history of mankind.

How can we know this is true? Why would the church kill unarmed Christians who challenged their authority by burning them at stake or feeding them to lions? Because they see it as not challenging their authority per se but letting the secret of the church out.
Islam and other religions have done nothing to Christians compared to what the church has done to Christians.

The church is NOT The Assembly that Jesus built, it is not the Assembly that the disciples followed, and it is not The Assembly that the early Christians practiced.

The Jesus of the church, the doctrines, festivals, practices, etc of the church are not the same as that of the Assembly of Jesus.

Therefore, we urge true believers to “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues."
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty (2Co 6:17-18).

Consequently, we believe in going back to the Basis:

Assembly

We use the term Assembly (Ekklesia), and not Church (Kuriakon).

Style of Meeting

We believe in Fellowship (participation by all - Koinonia) as the style of meeting, and not the Clergy/Laity (participation by the priests only) which is the style of the church then and now and which Jesus twice condemned in the book of Revelation.

Calling

We believe that we are all called by God but some are called into specific calling as Pastors, teachers, prophets, apostles, and evangelists to edify the body. They are servants, regardless, and bond-servants of the Lord, and are recognized and honored for their labor within the assembly but are still brothers among the brethren without titles.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, body ministry, and discerning the Lord’s body but not in the eucharist and transubstantiation which is a carry-over of the pagan religion falsely called the Lord’s supper.

Local Assembly

We believe that every believer must be a part of a local Assembly, and that Assembly is not owned, founded, led, or controlled by any man, organization, or denomination. The natural family is the replica of this spiritual family and they meet together as a family of God to express the assembly of Jesus on earth.

 Home

We believe in meeting in homes where possible as Jesus instituted and the early disciples and assembly did.

Leadership

A one-man church leadership is pagan in origin. Jesus warned the disciples not to practice it. Hence, there is no "Pastor" in a New Testament Assembly. The leadership is by Plurality of Elders as common in the book of Acts and other Epistles.

Priesthood

We believe in the priesthood of all believers. There are no Levites, bond, free, slave, Gentile, Jews in the body of Christ. We are all equal and one in the Lord and we are all brethren.

Giving

As New Testament Believers saved by Grace and led by the Holy Spirit, we do not subscribe to the Old Testament style of giving. The New Testament is clear about believers’ giving and every believer must participate in it.

Bride of Christ

We believe that believers are the Bride of Christ and not the spiritual Israel, and Christ is to her Messiah-the-Lamb. Israel, however, is the Friend of God and Christ will return to complete his assignment to her as Messiah-the-Lion when the Assembly has been raptured.
