2. STUDY THE WORD: - (Rom 15:4) For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. - Joh 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. - Rom 10:17 So then faith comethby hearing, and hearing by the word of God. - All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (2Ti 3:16) - Psa 19:7 The law of the LORD isperfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. - Jos 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
3. 4. OBEDIENCE:(Heb 5:8) Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; - 2Co 10:6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled - Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft. Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep; In journeyings often, inperils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perilsby mine owncountrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, inperils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness. 5. SELF EXAMINATION: (1Co 11:28) But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.

6. FAITH EXAMINATION: (2Co 13:5) Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

7. BE WATCHFUL:2Ti 4:5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
