Inspired by Instruction of Jesus in Luke 24:49, and the event in The Upper Room in Acts 2.
Introduction
At birth, everyone is born with a life purpose. Some call this "Destiny." When you become born again, you are given a spiritual purpose, some call it "Ministry."
For those who are more spiritually inclined (like the disciples were), their calling / ministry is the same as their life-purpose.
Knowing our life-purpose or calling / ministry is crucial, but stepping into it is where the fulfillment is.
In Luke 24:49, Jesus told his disciple that for them to fulfill their calling in life, they needed to stay in Jerusalem until they were endued with power from above. He calls it, “the Promise of My Father.”
Just like in the Parable of Talent that the Master gave everyone at least one talent - with instructions. God also gives everyone this promise. For various religious (or un-religious reasons), people choose to call it different names; purpose, destiny, calling, ministry, and so on.
However, this promise always comes with instructions.
Jesus gave His disciples the instructions to follow before they could step into their purpose, calling, and ministry in life.
Do you know the promise of the Father for you in life?
Do you know your purpose on earth?
Do you know your spiritual calling in life, or ministry?
Do you know the path way to get there?
Here are 7 pathways that could help everyone fulfill their purpose in life and calling in ministry. They are gleaned from the experience of the disciples at the Upper Room.
